we are

Karmina is a marketing and communication agency born with this name in January 2024, the result of the split of another agency, Imagina Digital Solutions, keeping part of the team and clients, therefore, with a history dating back to May 2015.
Karmina (trade name) operates as Dunder Mifflin Paper Company SL, the name of the company in the comedy series “The Office”, a clear nod to Karmina's personality and purpose. The name “Karmina” doesn't need much explanation: it had to sound easy, in different languages, available as a brand and domain name and not too far removed from our past.
Since 2015, the companies linked to IMAGINA, now Karmina, have had a turnover of more than 20 million euros.

Barcelona, 1992. Studies in Political Science, he began to undertake digital business in 2012 managing campaigns and clients just when the professionalisation of social networks such as Facebook and Twitter was being born. In 2013 he created 2 news portals, ycom (Catalan) and atombit (Spanish) and the first company to manage the digital strategy of clients. At the end of the same year he joined the Xavier Olivé agency, specialising in gastronomic communication, as head of digital strategy, managing projects such as Viña Pomal, Ametller Origen, Anxoves de l'Escala and Torrons Vicens. Until 2015 with the birth of Karmina (IMAGINA), he combined other projects as a marketing professor at the UAB or Barcelona Activa, or as a consultant for the Araeslhora campaign or 2 election campaigns. Since 2020 he has been an investor and advisor in other businesses such as El Mamón, Greensland (restaurants), Matcha Jeans (fashion), Medilux (aesthetics) and Centre Bonanova (psychology centre). In January 2024 he created Utopiq together with Ignasi Llorente.
As CEO of Karmina, his main functions are to lead the business and manage the newbusiness strategy, with a focus on innovation, performance and creativity.
Ignasi Llorente
PARTNER AND BUSINESS MANAGER/CEO UTOPIQ
Barcelona, 1973. He studied Medicine (URV) and Philosophy of Science (UPenn). He has devoted most of his career to communication, where he has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and institutional communication. He has also devoted much of his professional life to science communication, being a regular science communicator in the media and conferences. In this facet he has published half a dozen popular science books, both in Catalan and Spanish.

His experience in public administrations (from local to regional level) has allowed him to have an excellent background in Public Affairs roles that provide Karmina and Utopiq with a new business area of great value for their clients. His training in Ethics in IA (London School of Economics) has enabled him to incorporate consultancy and advisory services in this technology.
