Karmina wins 2 golds and 1 silver at The Communicator Awards 2026

At Karmina, we understand digital marketing as a balance between creativity, strategy, and measurable results. Therefore, receiving international recognition is not only a cause for pride, but also a validation of the work we develop every day as Digital marketing agency and social media agency in Barcelona, Madrid and the rest of Spain. This year we have been awarded 2 gold and 1 silver at The Communicator Awards, one of the most prestigious events in the sector globally.

This recognition does not come by chance. It is the result of a way of working where we combine Branding, social content, and digital strategy with a clear vision: connecting brands with audiences in a relevant and differentiating way.

The Communicator Awards are a leading international awards programme that recognises excellence in marketing and communications. They are relevant because they celebrate outstanding work across a wide range of categories, including advertising, public relations, corporate communications, social media, and digital content. Winning a Communicator Award signifies a high level of creative and strategic achievement, providing valuable recognition and validation for individuals and organisations in the communications industry.

The The Communicator Awards are among the most relevant international awards in the field of digital communication and marketing, recognising projects annually that stand out for their excellence, innovation and global effectiveness. In its most recent edition, the roll of honour includes projects developed for major brands and organisations such as Porsche, IBM, Crayola or Pfizer, alongside leading agencies and creative studios such as George P. Johnson, World's Fair Communications o The Newviews Agency, which reflects the high competitive level and the diversity of talent that is rewarded in this competition.

Oro 1: “Un Lansament foarte rotund” – Creativitate aplicată produsului

We received the first of the gold awards for the project “A Very Round Launch: Pans & Company’s Redondos”, in the Social Video category within the Food & Drink sector.

This project started with a clear challenge: to launch a new product within an established brand like Pans & Company without falling into the traditional communication codes of the sector. Our response was to opt for a visual and conceptual narrative based on the idea of “roundness” as a differentiating element.

From Karmina, we developed a campaign where storytelling, visual rhythm, and social content worked in an integrated way. It wasn't just about presenting a product, but about building a Recognisable brand experience on social media, designed to generate conversation and engagement.

This type of approach reflects how we understand work as Social media agency: not as a broadcast channel, but as a space where brands must entertain, connect and add value. You can read the success story here.

Brewdog – Social Media Challenge – Community and real engagement

The second gold has been awarded to the project “Brewdog – Social Media Challenge”, within the category Features – Best Community Building & Engagement.

In this case, the objective was not merely to generate visibility, but to build an active community around the brand. In an environment where social media is increasingly saturated, the key is no longer solely reach, but the ability to generate authentic interaction. We didn't work on content thinking only about the feed, or even the algorithm, but directly for audiences, generated, created, or sought, through paid channels, to distribute an ad hoc message according to age, language, or dialect.

Our strategy focused on designing interactive activities, relevant content and a narrative consistent with Brewdog’s irreverent tone. We opted for formats that encourage engagement, combining creativity with a deep understanding of user behaviour on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The CTR rose to 71%, a figure well above the average for organic content and typically also for paid content.

This recognition values something we constantly champion as Social media agencyEngagement isn't bought, it's built. And to do that, it's essential to understand the logic of each platform, as well as the audience's real motivations.

Silver: “Glow White” – Branding with a contemporary vision

The third award, a silver (Award of Distinction), has been given to the project “Glow White – Complete Branding & Visual Identity”, in the category General – Logo – Corporation or Business.

In this case, the work focused on developing a complete visual identity. Beyond the logo design, the challenge was to build a coherent and adaptable brand universe aligned with current market expectations.

From Karmina, we approach the project with a strategic vision of branding, understanding that today a brand no longer lives solely on static mediums, but across multiple touchpoints: social media, web, digital campaigns, etc.

The result was a clean, contemporary, and versatile visual identity, designed to work in digital environments and reinforce the brand's positioning in a highly competitive context.

This type of project reflects the importance of integrating branding and performance, something key in any digital marketing agency that wishes to bring real value to its customers. Also our commitment to consolidating the design team, led by Eva Trigo, with the support of the creative team such as Flor, Montse, Lucía, Paula, Raquel or Candela, among others.

Beyond the awards: what really matters

Winning international awards is always a satisfaction, but at Karmina we understand that the true value lies in the impact we generate for the brands we work with.

These three projects share something in common: they have not been built from creative intuition alone, but from a combination of Strategy, data analysis, and in-depth knowledge of the digital environment.

At a time when marketing is constantly evolving, with the emergence of artificial intelligence, changes in Meta's algorithms, or the growth of TikTok as a key channel, we believe that the role of an agency is not to follow trends, but to interpret them and adapt them to each brand.

These recognitions in The Communicator Awards reinforce our position as Social media and digital marketing agency in Spain, but they also drive us to keep evolving. This isn't the first time we've been awarded these prizes; previously, we also received recognition with brands like Orange or Udon. The sector is constantly transforming, and brands need partners capable of going beyond the superficial. At Karmina, we believe in creativity with purpose, where every idea responds to a clear strategic objective. This also leads to the idea of developing Utopiq.
