Karmina promotes the production of the REC 3 podcasts. Mediterranean creative dialogues

On 10, 11 and 12 February, Hangar (Barcelona) hosted the production sessions for the first of three programmes of podcasts, Mediterranean Dialogues of Creation, promoted by AMIC, XarxaPROD and Air de Midi as part of the third edition of the REC. Karmina has actively participated in this initiative, taking on the search and selection of content creators, the conceptualisation of the format of the podcasts, the technical coordination of the recordings and the final editing of the pieces. In December we organised 2 training sessions on podcasts, scripts, public speaking and work sessions to prepare the sessions.

The multilingual and innovative project brings together voices from Catalonia, Occitania and the Balearic Islands with the aim of generating dialogue around contemporary creation and its link to the territory. The episodes have been produced in Catalan, Spanish and French, with the support of artificial intelligence translation, thus facilitating the circulation of content and broadening the scope of the conversations.

On a conceptual level, we have worked on the podcasts as a meeting place for creators, cultural managers and agents from the three territories, addressing issues such as the relationship between the rural and urban spheres, artistic residencies and cultural mediation. Shared production and a cross-border perspective have been key to building a coherent narrative that can be adapted to different channels and audiences.

This action is part of the Euroregional alliance that promotes cultural cooperation between the territories of the Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion and reinforces the transfer of knowledge between creative networks. For Karmina, being part of the project has been a new opportunity to contribute to the professionalisation and dissemination of cultural content with impact.

The collaboration with AMIC in this project is one more of those we have developed together in recent years. At Karmina we continue to work with the organisation on initiatives linked to the creation of content, innovation in digital formats and the connection between creative communities, consolidating a relationship that allows us to promote cultural projects with a strategic vision and a network vocation.
